Kids love to play in the water! So, during this program, they'll get a chance to see just what little critters are in the water! We'll look for cool aquatic insects, as well as frogs, toads, and turtles. This program is geared towards kids that will going into grades 1-5. It is hosted in conjunction with NIACC's Continuing Education Program and registration can be made through their web site. The cost will be $19/family.

Everyone is invited to come take an informal tour of the summer nighttime sky at the Pilot Knob tower! We'll identify, observe, and discuss the brighter stars and constellations that are visisble during the summer months. The Perseid Meteor Shower will also provide the opportunity to see a few meteors! And, everyone will be given a star chart to take home with them.
