Maintenance & Equipment Operator - Buffalo Center
Join our team! Winnebago County Road Department is hiring a Maintenance & Equipment Operator for the shop in Buffalo Center, Iowa.
Primary Duties
- Operate motorgrader, dump truck and pup trailer, mower tractor, and other heavy equipment.
- Plow snow
- Service equipment
- Manual labor
Starting Wage: $25.43 per hour progressing to at least $29.92 after 18 months

Schedule: Regular Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00-3:30, Summer Schedule: Mon-Thurs 6:00-4:30 (on-call 24/7 during winter weather)
Requirements: CDL is not required to apply but chosen applicant must obtain Class A CDL with air brakes learners permit before starting work with the County. County will provide assistance with acquiring full CDL if needed.
