FULL-TIME RECORDER CLERK

Qualifications: Applicant must be able to multi-task and retain information,  be very detail-orientated, strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, possess strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), ability to learn complex computer systems, proficient in math and money handling, work in a team atmosphere and have exceptional customer services skills.

Duties include but are not limited to: assisting in recording, scanning and maintaining accurate legal documents of real estate transactions, issuance of recreational vehicle registrations and titles and issuance of hunting and fishing licenses, assist the County Recorder in the general daily operation/reporting of the Recorder’s Office, process passport applications as required by the U.S Department of State, which includes the ability to successfully complete the Passport Application Acceptance Training within 2 weeks of hire.

Requirements: Applicants must have at least 2 years’ professional office experience in business or related customer service area. Experience of operating office machines and digital camera. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and able to climb up and down ladder, lift heavy books/boxes from overhead and floor level shelving. Knowledge of legal descriptions preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license required.
