FULL TIME DEPUTY SHERIFF JOB POSTING 9/10/2025

Winnebago County, Iowa Sheriffs Office is taking applications for a full-time Deputy Sheriff position. Starting salary ranges from $92,649.90 to $99,267.75 depending on experience and academy. This job includes patrol, investigations, civil process, jail responsibilities among others.

All applicants must meet minimum hiring standards as set by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, and pass background check.

All non-certified applicants must pass the POST exam and ILEA physical agility testing to be considered for an interview. ILEA certified working peace officers will not be required to take physical agility test. POST and MMPI testing will be required unless done so within the last year.
