Victim Witness Coordinator

Full time position available with the Winnebago County Attorney’s Office. VWC works directly with victim witnesses to provide a full range of prosecution-based services to support victim witnesses, including providing referrals to community-based victim service programs, providing support throughout the criminal justice proceedings and strengthening victim’s knowledge of the criminal justice system. VWC organizes and participates in numerous community outreach projects, focusing on victim-related issues. Social work background is preferred but not required. Knowledge of the criminal justice system and/or EDMS is preferred but not required.
