The Full Moon Prairie Walk that was scheduled at the Hanson Nature Center on February 12th has been postponed due to the cold weather. The walk will now be held on Friday, March 14th, from 8:30-9:30 PM. Be sure to mark your calendars!

The County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year County tax asking as follows:
Meeting Date: 3/24/2026 Meeting Time: 11:00 AM Meeting Location: Winnebago County Supervisors Office 126 South Clark St. Forest City, IA 50436
At the public hearing any resident or taxpayer may present objections to, or arguments in favor of the proposed tax levy. After the hearing of the proposed tax levy,the Board will publish notice and hold a hearing on the proposed county budget.
