Nail Care Clinics
The Public Health department is committed to providing accessible, affordable nail care to Winnebago County residents. The goal of this program is to assist residents who have difficulty with their own nail care.
What to expect at a nail clinic:
- Clean nails and cuticles
- Cut/trim nails
If the nurse determines that the client has certain foot problems, such as...
- Ingrown toenails
- Infection
- Corn/calluses
...the nurse will refer the client to their physician or podiatrist for care.
If possible, soak your feet 15 minutes prior to your appointment.
Costs
- $25.00 for foot clinics
- $30.00 for in-home care
