Description

Set along the Winnebago River, and adjacent to the Winnebago River Trail, this area is comprised of natural wetlands, prairies, and oak and willow woodlands. It was purchased with habitat stamp money, along with money donated by Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, and the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. In the fall, it becomes a popular waterfowl hunting area.
